Google is currently the top search engine, accounting for over half of all internet searches. For the rest, about a quarter of all searchers use Yahoo, about 10% use MSN and 6% use AOL search. That means about 1 out of every 10 is done using a different search engine. If you are like most people, you probably have a favorite, and may only have heard of 5 or 10 others, but there are hundreds of search engines and directories on-line. Many specialize in a particular topic, but others (like google and yahoo) are general and cover most everything. Here is a list of some of those search engines, including those you may never have heard of.
